| If you are planning to cook and eat your meat within a few days after purchase, remove it from the packaging, wrap it in cling film and place it on the lowest shelf in the fridge, making sure that it is not close to any cooked meats or cheeses. | |
| If you are planning to store your meat in the freezer until a later date, remove it from the packaging, pop it in a freezer bag or wrap it tightly in cling film and place it in the freezer. Your meat should be fine in the freezer for a number of months. | |
